Join New England Mahj Co. at the beautiful Coracora for an interactive Mahjong 102 lesson designed for players who have completed a 101 class but want more practice choosing a line, building hands, and making strategic decisions.
Whether you’re still figuring out your NMJL card or need a little extra guidance during gameplay, this lesson will help you feel more confident at the table.
Choosing a Line: Read your tiles and identify promising hands on the NMJL card.
Building Your Hand: Learn how to organize your tiles and work toward a winning combination.
The Charleston: Practice making strategic decisions about which tiles to pass and keep.
Defensive Play: Recognize what other players may be building and make smarter discards.
Fine-Tuning the Basics: Review exposures, calling tiles, and common gameplay questions.
Guided Gameplay: Put your skills into practice with instructor support and personalized tips.

Small-group instruction with four players per table
All mahjong tiles and equipment
Please bring your current National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card. We will have a limited number available to borrow.
Please arrive 10 minutes early so everyone is ready to begin together and your tablemates aren't left waiting.
Food and additional drinks will be available for purchase from Coracora.
